German Archaeological Institute / German Research Foundation
The German
Archaeological Institute (DAI) is a networked research institution with
worldwide reach in the fields of archaeology and ancient history. One of the
main objectives of the DAI since its founding in 1829 has been to publish the
results from archaeological and ancient studies projects. Its book series and,
in particular, its journals and data publications offer a platform for
high-quality research carried out by scholars worldwide. The DAI currently publishes
15 internationally renowned journals as well as about 70 subject-related book series
which are published in high-quality printed formats. Parallel to the printed
editions, the DAI’s publications are made available for no cost as online
publications via https://publications.dainst.org/journals and https://publications.dainst.org/books/dai.
