Mariña Álvarez is the Head of Airspace Policy at Spain's Directorate General of Civil Aviation. She is in charge of coordinating the deployment of PANDU +, the National Action Plan for the U-space and Geozones Deployment.
She is an aeronautical engineer with extensive experience both in the public and private aviation sectors. She has been working 4 years at the DGCA in projects related to air navigation strategy. Previously, she joined an international manufacturing company, where she took on various roles, including manufacturing lead engineer and A320 production manager.
