Enrique Iglesias is Safety Inspector in the CNS Systems & U-space Department at AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency) since 2024. He has a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has more than nine years of technical experience in U-space implementation and the operational integration of UAS into the Air Traffic Management (ATM) environment, contributing to activities aligned with the European U-space regulatory framework (Regulation (EU) 2021/664).
Prior to joining AESA, he has been ten years with CRIDA-ATM R&D Reference Centre, where he worked as Research and Development Engineer in several projects of the U-space and ATM domain under the umbrella of the SESAR Project.
