SESAR Deployment Manager

Mariagrazia La Piscopia has been Executive Director of the SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) since 2022.

With over 25 years of experience in the aviation and Air Traffic Management sector, Mariagrazia expertise is recognized from technical to strategic areas and spans from research and development to deployment.

Prior to her current role she was the SDM Chief of Programme and Strategy and started her career in ENAV, the Italian Air Navigation Service Provider as Head of International Coordination and ATM Planninng.

Managing a team composed of airlines, ANSPs and airports, she has always emphasized the importance of stakeholders’ coordination in shaping the European sky, particularly in the context of digital transformation, sustainability and security.
