The School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is one of the largest and most prestigious academic institutions in Greece, bringing together a broad range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences and education.<\/p>

Located on the Zografou Campus, the School of Philosophy building was constructed during the expansion of the University campus in the 1960s and has since become a landmark of higher education and academic life in Athens. Today, it serves as a vibrant centre for teaching, research, international collaboration and the hosting of major scientific and cultural events.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Please collect your conference badge from the registration desk upon arrival. Badges must be worn at all times for entry to conference sessions and events.<\/p>

    For the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 26 August, delegates may enter by showing either the conference app or their registration confirmation email. In this case, collecting your badge beforehand is not required.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Volunteers<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Volunteers wearing white T-shirts will be available throughout the venue to assist participants. They are local and international archaeology students who have generously volunteered their time to support the Annual Meeting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available throughout all meeting rooms and public areas of the venue. Connection details will be displayed in each meeting room during the conference.<\/p>

    Participants with Eduroam access may also connect using their existing Eduroam credentials.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Appropriate security measures will be in place throughout the venue. Meeting rooms will be locked overnight; however, participants are advised to take care of their personal belongings at all times, as the organisers cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Medical assistance will be available throughout the Meeting. In an emergency, contact the on-site medical team or call the Greek emergency number:<\/p>

    Emergency number\u00a0112<\/strong>\u00a0operates 24 hours a day and connects to ambulance, police and fire services.<\/p>

    An ambulance with a doctor on board will be stationed at the main entrance throughout the conference to provide immediate medical assistance if required.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
