Biography
Heather Meier is an experienced executive leader known for aligning mission, strategy, and execution to help complex organizations operate with clarity, discipline, and purpose. A natural integrator, she specializes in turning strategic vision into operational reality while building high-performing teams and organizational culture grounded in trust and accountability.
Heather currently serves as Chief Finance & Operations Officer for the Minnesota Association of Realtors®, one of the state’s largest and oldest professional trade associations with more than 21,000 members. She oversees finance, human resources, technology, compliance, and operations-leading organization-wide initiatives.
Her career spans executive leadership roles across the association, nonprofit, and Fortune 100 sectors, including the American Clean Power Association, The Nature Conservancy, and General Mills.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business-Accounting and Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics - Community and Economic Development (from Penn State University).
Beyond her professional work, Heather is deeply engaged in community and environmental leadership. She is a founding board member of Save the Boundary Waters, serves on the board of the National Wildlife Refuge Association, and supports the advancement of women leaders through her work with TeamWomen’s Professional Development Committee. She also participates in mentoring programs, supporting the development of current and future leaders.
Heather lives in Monticello, Minnesota with her husband, Logan, and their three terriers. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, cycling, gardening, and hosting gatherings in their historic 1800s Victorian home.
