Suzanne Young is the Chief Executive Officer of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® (HBR) directing the day-to-day operations, working together with a Board of Directors composed of member volunteers, to enhance the professionalism of and provide support to more than 6,500 real estate professionals on Oahu. She also serves as the CEO for Honolulu’s multiple listing service, HiCentral MLS, Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Board.

Suzanne began her career at the Board in 1989, serving in various capacities across several departments, including Education, Professional Standards, Membership and Communications. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2015 for both organizations, she has made member outreach her signature platform, working to increase face-to-face interactions with REALTORS across Oahu and the educators, tech support specialists and leadership of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS who support them, through town-hall-style forums, roundtable discussions and office visits. A passionate advocate for homeownership and affordable housing, she is currently spearheading a new initiative with her leadership team to provide homebuyer education to first-time buyers, HOPE, Housing Opportunities are Possible for Everyone.

Suzanne is currently serving on NAR’s Professional Standards Committee. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in Business and was named a Woman Who Means Business by Pacific Business News, is a Past President and current Director for the local Domestic Violence Action Center, and Vice President of the Hawaii Arts Alliance.
