Wendy has been a nurse for over 27 years and in a leadership role for over 25 years. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in advancing patient safety through multiple initiatives, including reducing healthcare-acquired infections, safety coaching, and fostering a strong culture of safety. Wendy currently helps lead our Situational Awareness team, where she focuses on proactive risk identification, effective communication, and teamwork to prevent harm and support high-reliability practices.
