Sara is a Senior Manager with Blue and Co.’s hospital consulting practice. Sara has more than 18-years experience working in acute care reimbursement compliance, with the majority of her career as a consultant for regional public accounting firms and serving as the manager of reimbursement for a large hospital health system. Sara’s expertise lies in the area of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and cost reporting, as well as strategic financial analysis. She also has extensive background in Medicare provider-based clinic and Rural Health reimbursement and compliance, Ohio HCAP Agreed Upon Procedures, and DSH reporting. Sara also specializes in Medicare provider enrollment, assisting numerous hospitals with their CMS-855 enrollments as it relates to new enrollment, changes of information, changes of ownership, and revalidations.
