Katherine Junger, PhD, MBA
Director of Systems Integration, Office of Population Health
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
Katherine is a Clinical Psychologist and health systems leader with deep expertise in integrating behavioral health into complex care and population health infrastructures. She began her career at Cincinnati Children’s as a Resident and faculty member, providing integrated behavioral health services within neurology clinics for youth with treatment-resistant epilepsy. In 2020, she transitioned to HealthVine, the hospital’s Accountable Care Organization, to address systemic barriers and inequities she observed in clinical practice. A hallmark of Dr. Junger’s work has been the design and implementation of a novel behavioral health attribution strategy that reduced longstanding silos between physical and behavioral health systems.
