Anna K. Foster is a seasoned healthcare and regulatory leader with more than 32 years

of experience spanning nursing practice, legal and regulatory compliance, public health,

and organizational leadership. She currently serves as a Practice Administrator for the

Ohio Board of Nursing, where she interprets and applies the Nurse Practice Act,

develops regulatory guidance, supports legislative and Board decision-making, and

represents the Board across statewide initiatives. Her career includes leadership roles

in women’s and children’s services, public health, ambulatory surgery operations, and

neonatal intensive care, as well as extensive work in accreditation, compliance, and

legal nurse consulting. Anna holds a Master of Science in Jurisprudence from Seton

Hall University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from

Gonzaga University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University. She

has written and presented on healthcare, regulatory, and public health topics, bringing a

rare blend of clinical expertise, legal knowledge insight, and strategic leadership to

every role she undertakes.
