Alison serves as the Clinical Risk Manager for Hillcrest and Mentor Hospitals within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. Alison’s role includes leading investigation and remediation of sentinel and significant harm events, providing clinician coaching for medical error disclosure, and ensuring an increasing level of patient safety. Alison is also responsible for a complete risk assessment, event presentation for analysis to key stakeholders and completing safety reviews for the entire hospital. She collaborated with other departments and outside companies for the creation and implementation of the new database for the enterprise Clinical Risk department. She is instrumental in ensuring the data management system is up to date with considerations for data requests and innovations for sustainability.
