14CHRONO Centre is a high precision
radiocarbon dating laboratory with more than three decades of experience in
providing carbon dating and dendrochronology services to members of the
academic and commercial sectors worldwide. With an Ionplus MICADAS AMS, 14CHRONO
can provide higher precision and process more samples than ever. There is also
a ramped pyrolysis/combustion system, which can separate carbon fractions
thermally and improve radiocarbon dates on artefacts affected by contaminates,
such as conservation treatments. New stable isotope and Pb210 facilities are currently
being developed. 14CHRONO has the facilities and expertise to provide
radiocarbon dates and isotopic analysis for a wide range of applications in
archaeology.
