As the Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), John DiMichele brings together a wealth of professional experience, the practitioner’s perspective, and an intimate understanding of both technology and the real estate landscape.

He began his career as a real estate salesperson and Broker/Manager before joining TRREB in 2002 as Chief Information Officer, where he led major technology initiatives that helped modernize the organization. 

As CEO, John’s priorities include protecting MLS® data and privacy, advancing a future-facing MLS® ecosystem, and strengthening the economic competitiveness and livability of the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region. He initiated TRREB’s annual Market Year in Review and Outlook Report, providing policymakers and stakeholders with critical insights into housing supply, infrastructure, and long-term regional growth.

John is the visionary behind the Future Facing MLS initiative and the creation of PropTx Innovations Inc., TRREB’s wholly owned subsidiary, where he also serves as Chief Executive Officer. Recognized nationally and internationally for his leadership, he has received the CREA AEN Award of Excellence and multiple Inman honours and continues to contribute to the industry through MLS and technology think tanks and governance roles across North America.
