The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) is the sole accreditor for athletic training programs in the U.S. and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The CAATE promotes quality athletic training education through the Standards for Accreditation of Athletic Training Programs at the professional and post – professional levels.
