Dr. Carlitta Moore is a distinguished professional serving as the Vice Chancellor for Access and Institutional Engagement at Arkansas State University (A-State). With a remarkable tenure at A-State, Dr. Moore has been an active advocate for developing an environment where people are and feel valued and have a sense of belonging. Dr. Moore's earlier professional accomplishments include her serving in dual roles as the Clinical Education Coordinator/Associate Professor for the Master of Athletic Training Program and as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for the College of Nursing and Health Professions at A-State, and prior to as the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer at Fayetteville State University, where she made history as the first African American female Head Athletic Trainer.

Beyond her institutional roles, Dr. Moore contributes her expertise to the field by serving on the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) Board of Commissioners, the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) District 6 Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee (EDAC) representative, and Southwest Athletic Trainers' Association SWATA) EDAC chair. Additionally, she holds a position on the Board of Directors for El Centro Hispano Jonesboro, as well as the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education (AABHE) as Vice-President of Programming/President-Elect and completed the AABHE Leadership and Mentoring Institute in 2017.

Dr. Moore's educational journey includes a B.S. degree in Biology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Fayetteville State University, and M.S. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a major in Health and Human Performance and a concentration in Athletic Training.

Outside her professional commitments, Dr. Moore is dedicated to community service as a member of the Community Health Education Foundation (CHEF), and the NAACP in Jonesboro, AR. She is also recognized as a Diamond Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., showcasing her commitment to lifelong scholarship, service, and leadership. Actively involved in her local community, Dr. Moore attends New Genesis Fresh Start Ministries in Fayetteville, NC, where she is also a member of the Women’s Ministry.
