Cassie Heald (she/her) is an athletic trainer working for Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, OH. She takes care of the athletes at Nordonia High School in Macedonia and has been a Knight since 2024. Prior to moving to Akron, Cassie began her career in her home town of Minot, ND taking care of the Minot State University Women’s hockey team and the athletes at her alma mater Glenburn HS.. Cassie has her BS in Athletic Training from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from Minot State University. She has served on numerous professional committees, including being a member of the Mid-America Athletic Trainers Association Young Professionals Committee, secretary/treasurer of the North Dakota Athletic Trainers’ Association, , and is currently serving as the at-large member for the NATA LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee. When she isn’t working, Cassie spends her time with her two cats, Osiris and Deeohgee, loves to cook, crochet, and listen to all the true crime podcasts.
