Thomas McKnight is currently an Associate Athletic Trainer in the Department of Athletics at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Gallaudet University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Biology and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Shenandoah University in 2013. McKnight is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in health and human performance at Concordia University Chicago. Over the past 12 years, he has worked as an athletic trainer for the US men's basketball team in international events, including the Deaflympic Games and World Championships in Brazil, Bulgaria, Poland, and Japan, and is currently leading the US Deaf Sports Federation Medical Commission. In addition to his athletic training work, he has been an adjunct professor of biology and physical education since 2014 and has been teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
