Mary Mundrane-Zweiacher PT, ATC, EDD

Mary Mundrane-Zweiacher, is an EdD, PT, ATC, CHT, at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. Dr. Mundrane-Zweiacher received her B.S. degree from Ursinus College in 1986, her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 1989, and her EdD with emphasis on Healthcare Curriculum Planning and Medical Ethics from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1987 and received her Hand Therapy Certification in 2001. She has lectured on a variety of topics including medical ethics, knee, sacroiliac/back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand pathology and provided medical evaluation and treatment at the community, collegiate, and professional levels. She has also been published on shoulder, knee and wrist/hand rehabilitation and her Dissertation was published in the Fall (2024) in the peer-reviewed Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice. Dr. Mundrane-Zweiacher served on the NATA Committee for Professional Ethics from 2014 to 2018, the Honors and Awards Committee from 2019 to 2024 and she serves as the current D2 Rep for ATs Care and has been Delaware Rep for ATs Care since 2020. She also served as Chair for the EATA Student Delegation from 2005 to 2019. Dr. Mundrane-Zweiacher has worked with both high school and collegiate marching bands in local and international venues and has been referenced in several media outlets about guidelines for prevention and treatment of injuries to marching band and color guard members.
