Heather Hudson EdD, LAT, ATC

Dr. Heather Hudson serves as the Program Director for the Master of Athletic Training Program. Dr. Hudson joined Baylor in August of 2018, after serving as an assistant professor, athletic training program director and Dean of the School of Preventative and Rehabilitative Health Science at Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Hudson received her Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Dr. Hudson enjoys investing in students and has served as a mentor for students in many capacities, such as Chairing the SWATA Student Leadership Development Committee and serving as the Advisor for an on-campus organization, Mind and Motion. Her research interests lie in the areas of interprofessional education and teaming, cultural competence, and curricular design.
