Dr. David Heath is a board-certified Emergency Medicine (EM) physician, EMS Medical Director and Assistant Professor of EM with a distinguished career including faculty appointments at the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk COM and Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Ohio University-Heritage COM. Dr. Heath completed EM residency in the Cleveland Clinic Health System serving as a Chief Resident and Faculty. He continued his athletic training education with both a clinical doctoral degree in Athletic Training from A.T Still University and Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. For over 22 years, Dr. Heath has maintained the BOC Certification amassing considerable clinical experience in a number of practice environments including NCAA Division I/II athletics, secondary schools, clinical outreach and sports medicine clinic rehabilitation. Currently, he is employed by OhioHealth and resides in Canton, Ohio.
