Shona Carr provides strategic leadership for a complex 340B program and integrated ambulatory pharmacy services across the health system. In this role, she oversees compliance, operations, and financial integrity for 340B eligible pharmacy programs supporting underserved and rural patient populations.
With more than 20 years of progressive experience in pharmacy operations, compliance, and reimbursement, Shona brings deep subject matter expertise in 340B program management, audit readiness, manufacturer pricing and rebate challenges, contract pharmacy oversight, and revenue cycle alignment. Prior to her current role, she served as Pharmacy 340B Manager at Genesis and spent over a decade in pharmacy compliance leadership, conducting audits, managing third party reviews, and mitigating regulatory and financial risk.
Shona holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University and is a 340B ACE certified professional, reflecting advanced expertise in the statutory and operational requirements of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
She is widely recognized for her practical, data driven approach to navigating an increasingly complex 340B landscape and has served as a subject matter expert on 340B policy and manufacturer rebate models, including participation in industry forums and the 340B Health Insight podcast. Her work focuses on protecting the integrity of the 340B program while ensuring hospitals can continue funding critical patient care and community health initiatives.
