EuRA Conference 2026 X AITL
Optimizing the EuRA
conference 2026 app for maximum engagement
Enhancing attendee networking and navigation at Europe’s largest global mobility congress.
Event overview
EuRA Conference 2026 in Malta brought together global mobility managers, relocation professionals and destination service providers from across Europe and beyond. As Europe’s premier global mobility conference, the event focused on driving innovation and partnership building within the corporate relocation sector. Key industry sponsors included Principal Relocation, TIRA, Blueground and Dwellworks, reflecting the breadth of expertise across the global mobility ecosystem. For a flagship event of this scale, leveraging event technology and a high-performance mobile event app was essential to streamlining attendee networking, real-time delegate communication and on-site event coordination to deliver a seamless user experience.
The challenge
As the EuRA Conference 2026 continued to scale, the organizing team looked to further enhance operational efficiency through modern event management solutions.
Managing and printing 850+ physical badges highlighted an opportunity to streamline onsite check-in and strengthen the accuracy of attendee data management. Collating real-time delegate profiles became increasingly complex as last-minute registration changes were introduced.
At the same time, delivering a premium digital event experience required a scalable platform capable of supporting attendee engagement, seamless B2B networking and personalized schedule tracking without friction. The focus was on replacing manual workflows with automated event technology that elevated the user experience for every global mobility delegate.
Why an event app was introduced
The decision to implement an event app was driven by the need for a single, centralized platform that could bring all event information and functionality together in one place.
The key objectives were to:
- Provide a central hub for all delegate information.
- Enable easy access to schedules, contacts, and event updates.
- Support meeting booking between attendees.
- Facilitate real-time messaging and networking.
- Reduce reliance on printed materials and manual coordination.
The goal was to create a more connected, efficient and user-friendly experience for all participants.
Working with AITL
The feedback we received from EuRA highlighted a smooth and collaborative experience with strong alignment throughout both the setup and delivery. The app was thoughtfully designed around the specific needs of the conference, making it easy and intuitive for both organisers and delegates to use.
Most valuable features
Messaging functionality
The in-app messaging feature made it easy for attendees to connect and arrange meetings during the event. It kept conversations flowing in real time and supported more natural, spontaneous networking throughout the conference.
Delegate directory and contact access
The delegate directory brought all attendee information into one place, making it quick to find and connect with relevant contacts. With profiles easy to access, attendees could move straight from discovery to conversation without having to switch between tools or rely on printed lists.
"Everything was very positive. People liked how easy the app was to use and the ability to message and keep socials up to date"
Impact on the attendee experience
Overall, the introduction of the app had a clearly positive impact on the attendee experience. Delegates found it intuitive and easy to navigate, with real value placed on features such as in-app messaging and the ability to manage networking opportunities in real time.
It helped create a more connected event experience, reducing friction and making it easier for attendees to engage throughout the conference.
Feedback from attendees and staff
Feedback from both delegates and organisers was consistently positive, with many highlighting how simple and intuitive the platform felt to use throughout the conference. It quickly became a central part of the experience, particularly in how it supported networking and day-to-day communication.
Attendees also appreciated having everything in one place, from event information to social updates, making it easier to stay informed and engaged without relying on multiple channels or printed materials.
Data and analytics
The analytics provided were considered highly valuable in understanding how delegates interacted with the app. Insights around usage, engagement and adoption helped the organising team evaluate success more clearly and identify opportunities for future enhancement.
A particularly strong indicator of engagement was the level of in-app activity, with 4,492 messages sent and 416 meetings booked, reinforcing the importance of networking within the platform. The agenda also saw high interaction, with 3,235 session saves recorded, showing clear value in how attendees planned and personalised their event experience.
There is ongoing interest in expanding these insights further in future editions, with a view to deepening understanding of attendee behaviour and networking patterns.
