The Virtual Pet Fair Helps Animals Find Their Forever Homes
A company passionate about animal welfare, Pet Food Express’ ® (PFE) 2021 Virtual Fair allowed insights to be shared from over thirty years of experience in the California pet community. Finding homes for a staggering 23,000 pets each year, PFE are committed to ‘Pawlanthropy’, lobbying to protect pets and aiding the community in times of need, such as recent wildfires.
PFE’s Michael Levy and Mark Witriol have been supporting the safety and wellbeing of animals since 1986, providing a friendly resource to help pets and owners live better. In its inaugural Virtual fair, Michael and Mark committed to helping 4137 (and counting!) animals find homes. Session topics included nutrition and ‘Catification’, with Live Streams allowing a window into the adoption process, straight from shelters and rescue centers.
With the help of All In The Loop’s skilled Live Team and consolidated platform, PFE could offer a convenient platform for attendees and streamline the adoption process. The event hosted 140 adoption booths, chock-full of adorable animals searching for a happy home. PFE are perhaps most distinctive for their altruism, tirelessly supporting animal and environmental health. 2021’s Virtual Pet Fair is its 11th annual fair and North America’s largest pet adoption vent. Held on 11th and 12th September, the Fair also paid tribute to those affected by the September 11th attacks, with a memorial session commemorating the brave people and animals from the Search & Rescue team.
Consistent with their ethics, PFE adheres to The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act – aiming to eliminate hostile worker conditions in the global supply chain – also founding an Anti-Racism, Equity and Inclusion Plan. With sustainability at its core, the Pet Fair featured a Digital Agenda and ticketing system, minimizing waste. Through the integrated Virtual web platform and app, attendees could easily search through over 100 shelters and rescue centers to find their latest family member. Alongside insightful ‘Ask a Vet’ and ‘Ask a Trainer’ features, the app also hosted links to the PFE ‘Pet Owners Handbook’.
Helping animals find their homes is just one of the reasons All In The Loop were delighted to work with PFE. The latest wonderful Pet Fair is testament to their good will and determination, navigating a difficult time for global events. Attendees are able to access sessions from the Pet Fair now through All In The Loop.
