The Core Concept Review is the time to validate your knowledge of the course concepts before taking The Comprehensive Exam.
Strategic Planning Committee
The Strategic Planning Committee reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the creation and ongoing review of The CCIM Institute’s Strategic Plan including the Values, Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Goals & Objectives. The committee works with current and future leadership, with input from various committees, key members, and staff.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee is responsible for recommending and advising on The CCIM Institute marketing initiatives that promote CCIM education, products, and programs. The committee provides feedback and seeks to leverage the professional backgrounds of its members to identify and reach new target markets, and better serve existing markets.
International Activities Committee
The International Activities Committee will focus on recognition of the CCIM designation globally via trade show presence, trade missions, and newsletters to increase member knowledge of the international market. It will seek to increase networking opportunities for both US and non-US CCIM Institute members.
Governance Committee
The Governance Committee reports to the Board of Directors. Duties include, but are not limited to:
(a) Oversee the Leadership Identification Subcommittee;
(b) Review amendments to the Bylaws and Governing Policies;
(c) Lead the election processes for First Vice President, Treasurer-Elect, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors. The Vice Chair of the Governance Committee will conduct the elections;
(d) Review qualifications criteria for First Vice President, Treasurer-Elect, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors;
(e) Review committee descriptions; and
(f) Design the Board of Directors orientation.

Education Committee
The Education Committee provides oversight on educational initiatives within The CCIM Institute to ensure that The CCIM Institute achieves its educational objectives. Duties include, but not limited to:
Oversee the education subcommittees.
Ensure the quality, consistency, and relevance of educational offerings domestically and internationally.
Review education content, material, and delivery as needed.
Develop and uphold processes, policies, and procedures for educational offerings.
Member Services Committee
The Member Services Committee recommends ideas and long-range strategies for development of new member benefits. Duties include, but not limited to:
Oversee the Member Services subcommittees.
Monitor the development of membership related surveys (and initiates surveys when necessary).
Initiate studies and research into ways to improve and enhance online resources available to CCIM Designees and Candidate members.

Finance Committee
Oversee the financial operations of The CCIM Institute and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on funding of The CCIM Institute’s activities. The Finance Committee will act in accordance with such regulations as may be established by the Board of Directors of The CCIM Institute. Duties include, but are not limited to:
(a) Oversee the development of an annual operating budget aligned with strategic plan and work plan;
(b) Monitor investment portfolio in accordance with the investment policy. Review portfolio performance and investment manager performance against benchmarks. Oversee investment policy review at least every two years and make recommended changes;
(c) Review actual financial performance in comparison to the annual budget;
(d) Oversee the risk insurance coverage and recommended changes; and
(e) Annually review and approve standard business plan process and procedures. Review business plan(s) progress, requests for modification(s), and close out reports.
